Kenai River Vacations

Naghe nduninyu! Welcome!
You are about to embark on the trip of a lifetime during your stay in the majestic
beauty and nature of the Kenai Peninsula

Welcome To My Soldotna

Soldotna, pronounced Soul-daht-na, is one of the most fish crazy places in Alaska during the summer, right in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. Originally called Ts’eldat’nu in Denaina it means the “trickling down creek,” and has been  voted the #1 Fishing Hotspot in North America by Field & Stream Magazine. The town is well set up for the wave of anglers who flock here from mid-May through September for the runs of red, silver and especially the king salmon in the lower Kenai River. Soldotna is also home to more river city parks than any other community in Alaska, over a mile of elevated Kenai River boardwalk, and warm, friendly faces to make your Alaska trip memorable.

Lodging Options

Located at the heart of the Kenai Peninsula in the charming town of Soldotna, Alaska are four family-friendly, amenity-rich units that range between one-three bedrooms.  The convenient walking location allows travelers to easily walk to shops and cafes in central Soldotna. Guests can get up close to the world-famous Kenai River by a short-walk through gorgeous Soldotna Creek Park and appreciate the boardwalk and river views. Soldotna Creek Park is the hot-spot for fishing, perusing the Wednesday Market, listening to music in the park, or attending a summer concert series on the lawn. The convenient driving location can serve as a base camp to explore nearby towns of Homer, Cooper Landing, Seward and everything the Kenai Peninsula has to offer including hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, kayaking, foraging, etc.
