Shekinah grew up on the largest floating logging village in the world located outside of Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska and has lived in Alaska since she was a young child. Her ability to navigate the river, her love of fishing, and her desire to protect one of Alaska’s most precious resources keeps her on the river throughout the year.

In the winter months, you will see her riding the waves and exploring beneath the ocean surface on the islands of Hawaii. She is very familiar with both Alaska and Hawaii and loves to share outdoor adventures with everyone in both places.
